Lord, Kobrin, Alvarez & Fattell, LLC wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control and keyboard navigation.

Our Standard

This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities.

What We’ve Done

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and a “Skip to main content” link appears first on each page.
  • Links, buttons and form fields show a clear outline when selected with the keyboard.
  • Text and important graphics are designed to meet WCAG color contrast requirements.
  • Pages use headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can describe and navigate them.
  • Every form field has a visible label, and errors are described in text, not by color alone.
  • Images that carry information have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Pages adapt to small screens and to text enlarged up to 400 percent without losing content.
  • Animation and smooth scrolling are reduced if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Language changes, such as the link to our Spanish pages, are marked so screen readers pronounce them correctly.

How We Check

We test this website with automated accessibility tools and by hand, including keyboard-only navigation, screen sizes from phones to large monitors, and enlarged text. We review it again when pages are added or changed.

Known Limitations

Some content comes from other companies, such as the embedded Google map on our Contact page. We can’t fully control the accessibility of that content. Our address and directions are always available as text on the same page.
